If I were visiting a foreign country far from my own, one that had a big time difference, a different currency, reversed seasons, a different language or dialect (kiwispeak is not always easy!), potentially dangerous animals like the weta and tuatara, health risks (watch out for that sunburn) and where people drive on the wrong side of the road, I would want to know I had a competent, professional local contact before I set off on my travels.
